The PTR 9CT MP BR is a semi-automatic 9×19mm pistol configured with a factory-installed Magpul® BSL collapsible arm brace and Magpul® furniture, delivering modernized MP5-pattern performance in a braced pistol format. The PTR 9CT MP BR – 9×19mm Pistol with Collapsible Brace – Magpul® Edition is a factory-configured, roller-delayed platform engineered to deliver MP5-pattern performance with upgraded ergonomics. Sold at the point of sale as a pistol with a Magpul® BSL collapsible arm brace installed, this configuration maintains pistol classification while providing enhanced rear support and improved handling.

The platform operates using PTR’s proven roller-delayed blowback system, producing a smooth recoil impulse and reliable cycling. A nitride heat-treated, tungsten dead-blow weighted full-auto profile bolt carrier enhances durability and supports sustained operation. The semi-automatic action is host-ready for use with NFA-registered auto sear packs where legally applicable. The overall finish consists of black powder coating over Parkerizing for corrosion resistance and long-term wear protection.

The 9″ cold hammer forged, nitride heat-treated barrel features a 1:10″ right-hand twist and includes both a 3-lug interface and 1/2×28 threading, supporting suppressor compatibility and common mounting standards. An extended 4.5″ steel Picatinny rail allows flexible optic placement, while the Magpul® SL HK94/MP5® handguard improves ergonomics and provides modern accessory support without altering platform balance.

This model is offered with selectable magazine configurations, allowing users to choose between a standard 30-round steel magazine or a 50-round drum magazine. With the brace extended, the 9CT MP BR measures approximately 26.75″ in overall length and collapses to approximately 18″. The pistol weighs 5.7 lbs unloaded, with a trigger pull set between 9–10 lbs for consistent operation.

Each pistol ships in a range case with foam insert and includes two magazines (based on selected configuration) and a trigger cable lock.

Within the PTR lineup, the 9CT MP BR occupies the Magpul® Edition braced pistol segment, combining traditional roller-delayed operation with modern Magpul® ergonomics in a factory-built pistol configuration.
