PTR GI – 7.62X51MM – HERITAGE KIT

Product Description

The PTR GI Heritage Kit pairs the semi-automatic PTR GI rifle with original military-surplus accessories selected around its traditional 7.62×51mm configuration. The kit includes the GI rifle, two original 20-round aluminum surplus magazines, a vintage cleaning kit, and an original English-language manual from Portugal.

The rifle uses PTR’s roller-delayed blowback operating system and an 18-inch stress-relieved barrel with a tapered contour and 1:10-inch right-hand twist. Its 5/8×24 muzzle threading accepts compatible muzzle devices and suppressor mounts. A heat-treated, full-auto-profile bolt carrier, Parkerized finish, slim-line polymer handguard, and traditional claw-mount optic interface retain the established GI-pattern layout.

Green military-surplus furniture and a surplus metal lower trigger housing distinguish this configuration from PTR rifles equipped with modern furniture and welded Picatinny rails. The fixed stock, slim handguard, and claw-mount interface preserve the full-length service-pattern geometry, while the included cleaning kit, magazines, and Portuguese manual provide supporting components associated with the same platform.

The stock set and metal lower trigger components are military surplus rated NRA Good. The two original surplus magazines are rated Good or better. These parts may show scratches, finish wear, handling marks, blemishes, or other cosmetic variation, and the shade of the green furniture may differ between kits. The Heritage Kit exists as a complete GI-pattern package rather than a cosmetic reinterpretation: it combines the current-production PTR rifle with functional surplus components and original supporting equipment.
