Product Description
The PTR 9KT Max Kit combines the PTR 9KT 9×19mm compact pistol with a VENT 2 suppressor, an SB Tactical stabilizing brace, and 100 rounds of 9mm ammunition. The configuration packages PTR’s shortest MP5-pattern pistol with the primary components for a braced, suppressor-equipped setup.
The 9KT uses a roller-delayed blowback operating system and a nitride heat-treated barrel with a 1:10-inch right-hand twist. Its muzzle provides both a three-lug interface and 1/2×28 threading for compatible mounting systems. A nitride heat-treated, tungsten dead-blow weighted full-auto-profile bolt carrier supports consistent cycling, while the firearm’s exterior uses black powder coating over Parkerizing.
A 2.55-inch steel Picatinny rail provides an integrated optic interface. The PTR HG1M mil-spec anodized aluminum M-LOK® handguard incorporates a finger guard and provides accessory-mounting capability within the pistol’s reduced front-end dimensions. At approximately 13.38 inches without the brace installed, the 9KT is more compact than the full-size 9CT used in the corresponding 9CT Max Kit.
The included VENT 2 is manufactured from 3D-printed titanium using PTR’s Purposely Induced Porosity™ technology. It measures 7.6 inches long, 1.5 inches in diameter, and weighs 8.9 ounces. Its 1.125×28 mounting interface is supplied with a 1/2×28 direct-thread adapter for attachment to the 9KT barrel. Compared with the 9KT Pro Kit, the Max Kit adds the VENT 2 and increases the included ammunition from 50 to 100 rounds. The suppressor is an NFA-regulated component and remains subject to applicable federal, state, and local transfer requirements.
