The PTR 9KT – 9×19mm Pistol is a compact, roller-delayed platform engineered for reduced overall length and reliable performance. Sold as a pistol at the point of sale, the 9KT delivers MP5-pattern operating characteristics in the smallest pistol configuration within the PTR lineup.

The platform operates using PTR’s proven roller-delayed blowback system, providing smooth recoil impulse and consistent cycling. A nitride heat-treated, tungsten dead-blow weighted full-auto profile bolt carrier enhances durability and supports sustained operation. The semi-automatic action is host-ready for use with NFA-registered auto sear packs where legally applicable. The overall finish consists of black powder coating over Parkerizing for corrosion resistance and long-term wear protection.

The barrel is nitride heat-treated and features a 1:10” right-hand twist, with both a 3-lug interface and 1/2×28 threading to support suppressor compatibility and common mounting standards. A 2.55” steel Picatinny rail provides optic mounting capability, while the PTR HG1M mil-spec anodized aluminum M-LOK® handguard with integrated finger guard offers a compact, secure mounting surface for accessories.

Measuring approximately 13.38” in overall length and weighing 4.8 lbs unloaded, the 9KT emphasizes portability and control. The pistol feeds from steel 30-round magazines and features a trigger pull set between 9–10 lbs for consistent operation. Each 9KT ships in a heavy-duty range case with contoured foam padding and includes two magazines, a rear sight adjustment tool, a single-point bungee sling, and a cable lock.

  Love mine verry will made.pistol. But went with the steel hk mags as the polymer ones furnished suck as feed lips just dont last.

  I’m an armorer for an 07FFL/02SOT and the 9KT is an amazing MP5K clone. We have two of them and they have run flawlessly with thousands of rounds on full auto. Amazing platform and a genuine clone. Tungsten fill bolt carrier and Sear pack ready make it a no brainer for me. I love the 1913 rail welded to the receiver so you don’t have to use a claw mount that will inevitably come loose, but I would love to see a 9KT-CL in the future. Thank you again PTR for an amazing product and incredible customer service!

  As a semi auto user, most accurate precision pistol/carbine had the pleasure of running. Little to no recoil and very reliable trigger.
