The PTR 9KT BR – 9×19mm Pistol with Folding Brace is a compact, roller-delayed platform engineered to deliver reliable performance in a braced pistol configuration. Sold as a pistol at the point of sale with an FS1913™ pistol brace installed, the 9KT BR provides enhanced control while maintaining a reduced overall footprint.

The platform operates using PTR’s proven roller-delayed blowback system, producing a smooth recoil impulse and consistent cycling. A nitride heat-treated, tungsten dead-blow weighted full-auto profile bolt carrier enhances durability and supports sustained operation. The semi-automatic action is host-ready for use with NFA-registered auto sear packs where legally applicable. The overall finish consists of black powder coating over Parkerizing for corrosion resistance and long-term wear protection.

The 6” nitride heat-treated barrel features a 1:10” right-hand twist and includes both a 3-lug interface and 1/2×28 threading, supporting suppressor compatibility and common mounting standards. A 2.55” steel Picatinny rail provides optic mounting capability, while the PTR HG1M mil-spec anodized aluminum M-LOK® handguard with integrated finger guard offers a compact and secure accessory mounting surface.

With the brace extended, the 9KT BR measures approximately 23.125” in overall length and folds down to approximately 14.5”. The pistol weighs 5.275 lbs unloaded and feeds from steel 30-round magazines. The trigger pull is set between 9–10 lbs for consistent operation. Each 9KT BR ships in a range case with foam insert and includes two magazines and a trigger cable lock.
