Purpose-Built for the K3P and 32K

The HG5 is designed for the PTR K3P and 32K. Its 9.31-inch length reflects the longer handguard geometry of these platforms and clearly differentiates it from the shorter HG1 and HG3 configurations.

Extended M-LOK Mounting Area

Fifteen M-LOK-compatible attachment points are distributed across the HG5’s extended aluminum body. The additional length creates significantly more mounting space than PTR’s compact handguard configurations, making the interface itself a defining difference within the HG family rather than simply an added specification.

Aluminum Construction at 7.7 Ounces

The HG5 weighs 7.7 ounces and measures 1.58 inches in diameter. Aluminum construction provides the structure for the longer handguard while keeping its weight below the larger HG7. A mil-spec anodized finish protects the exterior aluminum surface.

The Mid-Length Rifle Handguard in the HG Family

At 9.31 inches, the HG5 occupies the space between the 5.65-inch HG3 and the 11.66-inch HG7. Its K3P and 32K compatibility establishes why the configuration exists: it provides the handguard length and M-LOK architecture appropriate to those platforms without using the longer HG7 format.
