The PTR 9CT-CL 9x19mm 250th Anniversary Edition pairs a one-time commemorative finish with the traditional configuration and proven mechanics of the 9CT-CL platform.

Its roller-delayed blowback operating system manages bolt movement mechanically, producing the smooth recoil impulse and consistent cycling for which this platform is known. Inside, a nitride heat-treated, tungsten dead-blow weighted bolt carrier provides the mass, durability, and controlled operation required for dependable performance.

The 9CT-CL is built around a 9-inch nitride heat-treated barrel with a 1:10 right-hand twist. A three-lug muzzle interface and 1/2×28 threading provide two established mounting options for compatible muzzle devices and suppressors. The traditional polymer handguard, classic drum-style sighting system, and claw-mount optic interface preserve the clean profile and familiar handling of the original roller-delayed design.

A stamped-steel receiver, molded polymer grip assembly, and steel 30-round magazine keep the construction direct and purpose-driven. The semi-automatic action is paired with a two-position trigger housing and a trigger pull of approximately 9–10 pounds.

Two configurations are available:

Pistol Configuration
The pistol measures approximately 17.6 inches overall and weighs approximately 5 pounds unloaded, retaining the compact proportions of the classic 9CT-CL without a stock.

Fixed-Stock SBR Configuration
The fixed-stock version measures approximately 26.75 inches overall and weighs approximately 5.68 pounds unloaded. The PTR fixed stock adds a stable shoulder interface while preserving the traditional profile of the platform.

Across the receiver, the commemorative flag treatment follows the steel rather than concealing it. The distressed finish allows the weld lines, contours, and mechanical character of the firearm to remain visible, making every variation part of the finished piece.
