The PTR 9CT BR – 9×19mm Pistol with Brace is a factory-configured, roller-delayed platform engineered to deliver mid-length MP5-pattern performance while retaining pistol classification at the point of sale. Sold with an SB Tactical SBT5™ pistol brace installed, the 9CT BR combines extended barrel length with additional rear support in a compact overall profile.

The platform operates using PTR’s proven roller-delayed blowback system, producing a smooth recoil impulse and reliable cycling. A nitride heat-treated, tungsten dead-blow weighted full-auto profile bolt carrier enhances durability and supports sustained operation. The semi-automatic action is host-ready for use with NFA-registered auto sear packs where legally applicable. The overall finish consists of black powder coating over Parkerizing for corrosion resistance and wear protection.

The 9″ nitride heat-treated barrel features a 1:10″ right-hand twist and includes both a 3-lug interface and 1/2×28 threading, supporting suppressor compatibility and common mounting standards. An extended 4.5″ steel Picatinny rail allows flexible optic placement, while the PTR HG3M mil-spec anodized aluminum M-LOK® handguard provides modern accessory mounting capability without compromising balance.

With the brace extended, the 9CT BR measures approximately 26.75″ in overall length and folds to approximately 18″. The pistol weighs 5.7 lbs unloaded and feeds from steel 30-round magazines. The trigger pull is set between 9–10 lbs for consistent operation. Each 9CT BR ships in a range case with foam insert and includes two magazines and a trigger cable lock.
